My Review: Another great read by Jessica Redland, what a delight to be back in Whitsborough Bay with familiar characters, small businesses and their community spirit. The book is written from different characters perspectives. Kerry is a single mum of four, her ex Cameron has been estranged from them all for a long time. It demonstrates the complexity of parenthood, the decisions we have to make for the best. Loved the dogs in this story too, especially Pickle. The RNLI Family have a prominent feature as they should. Weddings, friendships and soft beards aside we also come across some hard hitting topics, such as PTSD. Sometimes things arent what they seem. Recommended to new and regular readers of Jessica’s books.
