Well, what can I say about this book? It’s gorgeous, clever, surprising and enthralling.
I am blessed to be Fiona Jenkins and amazing friends with my girl Sue Baker who with me, has an incredible dedication in the book. I know we both cannot thank Lizzie enough. What an honour! We both have been able to read the ARC and boy, it’s good. I can’t wait for publication day and our online release party.

Sorry, I got lost in my awe and excitement.
In the book we meet Olivia who has just lost her father to dementia and is feeling somewhat invisible in her role as dog sitter and stationary supervisor.
We meet Greg her philandering boss, his overindulged, yet neglected wife Connie, Jen, the cocky PA. Darius who has been her bestie and side kick since childhood. A dodgy Detective called Gabe, who is tracking her movement. Winston who makes super spicy chicken and surreal ☕ coffee.
The characters are believable and strong, with quirks, irks and flaws, damage and trauma. These make for a good story.
It starts off steady and builds into some powerful and jaw dropping twists and turns. The dynamics shift and change at pace over the second half of the book 📖. I had some laugh out loud moments and many giggles.

I fully enjoyed this book and one more page turned into me reading the last 80 pages until 2am. I definitely recommend Lizzie and her new book. 👌
